First go to your cPanel account, and then login.
After that, find out the Files section, and then here you can see the "File Manager" option.
Simply click on it, and then you will be redirected to the File Manager page.
Now go inside to the Public_html, and then select that folder which you want to access with password.
Now right-click on the folder, and then here you can see the "Password Protect" option.
Simply click on it, and then you will come to the next page.
So on this page, select this "Password protect" option, and then you can see our directory path will automatically appear on here.
Now click on this "Save" button, and then you can see our directory is successfully locked with password protect option.
So now if you Go back, then here you can set the User and Password on your directory.
