```# IPv4 local connections:host all all 127.0.0.1/32 ident
```
Add the following line after it:
```host all all 0.0.0.0/0 md5
```
Save the file and exit the text editor.
7. Restart the PostgreSQL service:
```sudo systemctl restart postgresql
```
