  • Firstly, go to your cPanel account, and then login.
  • After that, find out the Files section, and then click on File Manager option.
  • So now go inside to the public_html, and then find the wp-config.php file.
  • Now right-click on this file, and then click on Edit button.
  • Again, click on edit button, and then here you will find all the credentials of WordPress database username and password.
  • So for fixing this error, You just need to enter the correct database username and password! Whatever is wrong, But if you don't know the exact database username and password, then you can simply go to the Databases section, and then click on MySQL databases option.
  • Here, just scroll down to the bottom, and you can see the current database username, and you can also change the password.
  • So now put the correct database username and password inside the file, and then finally click on the Save Changes button.
  • By using this way, you can fix your establishing database connection error.
