Introduction

In today's article, I will guide you, How to create a partial or full Backup of your cPanel. So let's get started.

  • First go to your cPanel account, and then login.
  • After that, find out the "Files" section, and then here you can see the "Backup" option.
  • Simply click on it, and then you will be Backup page.
  • On this page, there are two buttons for downloading the backup of your cPanel account.
  • So the first one is for downloading the full backup, and the second one is for downloading the partial backup.
  • If you click on this "Home Directory" button, and then here, you can see a Zip fill downloading will automatically start.
  • Note that, This partial backup will be saved in the form of Zip file, which can only restore your home directory.
  • Now, if you click on this "download a Full Account Backup" button, then you will be redirected to a new page.
  • On this page, first select the Backup Destination, and then add your email if you want.
  • Once you're done, simply click on "Generate Backup" button, and then it will take some time for generating the full backup of your cPanel account.
